Custom-Made 8-Ton Flake Ice Machine Shipped to Iceland
Recently, an 8-ton flake ice machine, custom-designed for an Icelandic client, successfully completed production and testing and was officially shipped. This customized equipment is specifically designed to suit Icelandic working conditions, offering stable performance and durability. It will provide efficient and reliable ice-making support for local food preservation, seafood processing, and cold chain logistics industries.
The 8-ton custom-made flake ice machine shipped this time features high-standard configurations, with core parameters tailored to the Icelandic client's needs: 80mm ice blade diameter, 1000×790mm evaporator inner diameter, and 12mm inner tank thickness. Its evaporator tank undergoes an annealing process, effectively eliminating welding stress, preventing equipment deformation, and significantly improving the equipment's lifespan and operational stability, meeting long-term local usage requirements.
The core component of the equipment uses washable Danfoss or Emerson expansion valves. These valves can be cleaned and reused after clogging, offering greater reliability and economy compared to ordinary valves—although the cost per valve is $100 higher, long-term use reduces maintenance costs and increases equipment utilization. The equipment has already been shipped, and we will continue to monitor logistics and installation/commissioning.
